Shop Spoon Bloom is a fandom-inspired creative brand run entirely by one silly college student named Mariel, aka spoonbloom. Her shop offers a variety of high quality handmade and manufactured products. All products are designed and packaged with love by her hands!

The brand primarily creates fanmade arts and crafts centered on Minecraft fandoms, internet game nostalgia, Overwatch, and Zelda, but custom products, commissions, and creative business consulting are also offered!

Timeline

Summer 2024 - The name “spoonbloom” is first adopted to replace a placeholder username on her TikTok outfit account.

Summer 2025 - Her dead Instagram Weezer fanart account is renamed to shopspoonbloom and she begins posting again, spurred by a sudden relapsed interest in Laurmau and the Aphmau fandom.

December 2026 - She creates four Minecraft Diaries trading card designs for fun and asks her Tumblr and Instagram mutuals if they’d be interested in — turns out they are, and she designs 25 more!

January 2026 - She opens her Etsy shop and starts taking preorders for her Minecraft Diaries trading cards.

April 2026 - She is invited to share a table at her first Artist Alley event at Nostalgiacon Houston with her wonderful friend, @s.s.idapa!

September 2026 - She starts her own shop on her new website!

My name is Mariel, and I’m a 21-year-old Filipina from Texas! This whole thing started because I fell back in love with drawing fanart from a 2015 Minecraft role play series I adored in middle school. Doodling my block people and filming silly outfit videos accidentally into a small business, and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to share my arts and crafts with such a lovely community!
